TRAINING TIP OF THE WEEK

Let’s take a look at the twelve reasons why you may not be finding the success you are seeking in your online business.

So many people online make it sound so easy but if you don’t follow some simple but profound rules, you may find yourself still lacking.  So, what do these people all have in common?

1. They never decide and really define, very specifically, what wealth means for them. The keyword here is specifically. Can you imagine how hard it would be to build a car or a plane without making a blueprint or sketch drawings of it first? You have to know what your target is before you go chasing after it. This week we are going to be taking a closer look at finding your target market and today I want everyone to write down specifically what wealth means for you.  You are wanting to make money working from home…how much, how would that change your life…what specifically does wealth mean to you?  Is it more than money?

2. They make wealth a moving target instead of a fixed one (this is related to point one). Once you have your target, fix it. Don’t change it until you reach it. You must accomplish each step, celebrate, and then set course for a new step, a new target.

3. They define it in a way that seems unreachable. You only achieve what you believe. No more, no less. So you must make it believable for you. Set goals that will make you move forward and stretch, but not too high that even you yourself don’t believe you can. Take the biggest step you believe you can, achieve it, then take the next biggest you believe you can. This will build positive reinforcement in your self-confidence as well.

4. They never start. Ok, this is obvious. If you keep thinking about it forever, it will forever remain in the thought level. You have to act! Start somewhere, anywhere! Only after you start do you begin to get some feedback which will help you plot your course better. The aircraft has to first take off before it starts to adjust course for its destination. You must start, somewhere, anywhere, doesn’t matter, just start! Act!

5. They never make it a must. Let me explain what it means to make it a must. It means marshalling all your intent, your will, your direction, into one singular flow that is directed towards your goal. All obstacles are viewed as challenges to be overcome. You will meet obstacles, and so expect it, but also expect to move forward anyways. Use your obstacles to develop strength and skills, don’t run away. Find out how to go past them. Find out! There is always a way, always. And if your emotions are acting against your desire, embrace them, learn what they are, know yourself, but keep moving forward. Make it a must, and it will happen. Guaranteed. You don’t know in how many steps it will take, but you know it will happen.

6. They don’t have a realistic plan. If you want to do something, find out how it is done from someone who has done it before. Make a realistic plan. Copy from those who have succeeded before you. But don’t throw away your intuition. Your intuition is extremely powerful once you learn how to listen to it with practice.

7. If they have a realistic plan, they never follow through on the plan. Well, if you don’t follow the plan, who will?

8. They give responsibility to others (“experts”) instead of to themselves. This way, they never really learn how to do it, and if there are failures they never learn why the failures happened and so they are bound to repeat them. It is a good idea to get advice, but do it yourself. At least understand it yourself even if you will delegate the actual doing. Even if you could find one of those opportunities that say they do everything for you, you would never learn how to go past their expertise (good or bad) or their systems so moving on to something else can’t be easily done.

9. They give up when they face challenges. Going through the challenges is what has made people rich, not giving up. Look, there are always challenges. So get used to that. You will only get where you wish to get to if you are willing to face the challenges along the path. All challenges are opportunities dressed in work clothes, remember that. After the challenge is over, you will discover the amazing fruit it held for you.

10. They fail to conduct their lives as a business; they never ensure that they make a profit year by year. Get a personal finance package like Quicken or Microsoft Money. You need to have budgets and cash flow statements for your personal finances and your businesses. It is easy with those software packages. If you don’t keep records and track, you won’t know when you are making or losing money until it is embarrassingly too late.

11. They allow other people’s ideas to affect their decisions unreasonably. There will always be people who don’t believe in your way, or who are pessimistic, who try to pull you down, or whatever. And they will sometimes be your closest friends and family. You cannot change that – they have a right to be who they are. It is OK. Allow them their thoughts, don’t judge them for that, but don’t feel obligated to accept their thoughts of follow their way. Don’t allow other people, now or from the past, unreasonably affect your decisions. Allow them their way, and you live your way.

12. They don’t get quality coaching. This is extremely important! Coaching is simply getting mentored by someone who has succeeded wildly in the area of your interest. Get coaching! Our education system hardly equips us for real life, so don’t assume that because you went to college you are properly equipped. Hardly. You need to keep learning.

Successful Blog Marketing Tips

So you have a blog and want to market it and make it a successful blog. How do you do this? How do you go about getting your blog out there to be seen and known by others? How do you draw readers and keep them coming back for more? There are many ways to get your blog out there and known by others. This can be known as challenging for some and just quite easy for others. If you have ever had a successful blog before then you know what it takes. You are not going to get anywhere by just setting up a blog and hoping that people will find it and read it. You are not going to gain any links, nor a higher search engine ranking by just having a blog. This is all part of blog marketing. Anyone can do it, even you.

Successful blog marketing tip number one. When you first create a blog, of course it is unheard of. No one knows anything about the blog unless you give them the link and show it to them. However, for a new blog that has never been seen, there are many ways to get it out there and known. You just need to know how. The first thing that you can do is to allow RSS feeds be taken from your blog. Allow other websites and blogs to publish your same exact blog. When you do this, they are giving you a link back to your blog, and also telling their readers all about your blog. You will get more traffic than ever with this tool. RSS feeds are wonderful for promoting and getting your blog out there.

 Blog marketing tip number two. Update your blog frequently. We can not put enough emphasis on this tip. If you tell your readers that you are going to update your blog daily, then do it. If you tell them that you will be writing in your blog weekly, don’t let them down. Your readers are what makes your blog successful. You may not realize this in the beginning, and you will have few readers in the beginning as well, but you will eventually build a readership base and have people checking out your blog regularly. Maybe you do not plan on telling your readers how often you will update your blog. That is ok too. However, think about this, if you were reading a blog on a weekly basis, and you expected to see the blog that you like to read updated at least once a week, you would be very disappointed to find out that it was not. Sure, things happen that might prevent you from updating, and that is expected, and excused, but week after week can hurt you and cause you to lose readers.

Tip number three. While you are working on your readership base, and trying to gain readers, you are going to find that commenting on blogs that are relevant to yours will surely help. Find a blog that is on the same topic to yours, or close to it and leave comments. You can also make a track back with your blog postings to comment on your own blog. Doing so will probably more than likely give someone else the urge to track back to your blog. Which will be good for it as well. Commenting on blogs that get many comments will make yours be seen by those interested in that market. You will gain traffic and readers that way, and it is easy as well as free.

The fourth blog marketing tip. Learn and apply SEO to your blogs. SEO is search engine optimization. You are going to find that if you want your blog to go anywhere, you need SEO, and you need to know how to use it to the advantage of your blog. Just like a website, a blog will be better off optimized.

There has been some great things happening and some challenges this past week. Congratulations to everyone who got their systems set up and are already gathering and stuffing and publishing adding content to our network.

 The platform is coming together nicely but we still have some people who have not set up their profiles yet and may have issues.  We want everyone to stay on track and on course with training so it is important that you get that done as soon as possible.

Remember that you must have a Linux or UNIX server so make sure you convey that to Arvixe when you order up your account. 

Set up issues that were predominant in our support ticket were:

• incorrect password
• wrong server type
• putting http://www. before the domain name
• invalid e-mail account

There will be set up videos in your back office shortly to aid you with this going forward.  If you already have a support ticket in, please check to ensure you have all of this correct as we will not be able to help either if you do not.  Once you check this out and try to set up again and you are still having problems then send in the appropriate support ticket.  Most of the issues were cleaned up with these adjustments alone.

Remember you can always change your target as you go forward so if you are not sure about your target market, just start with something and change it when you are more aware of the direction you want to take.

With that in mind we are starting a group effort marketing alliance this week.  This will help you in your endeavours to choose something appropriate for you and work with a group to help your individual efforts.

Top Phishing Sites

Don’t take the bait. Find out where and how scammers trick victims into giving out their information.

Your account has been blocked because of multiple log-in attempts. Your credit card is about to expire or has expired. We need your help to clear up fraudulent activity on your account. We couldn’t process your transaction or deliver your shipment. Please confirm your password.

Can you spot a phishing attack when you see one? Some messages we laugh off, but others look a little too real — and they’re netting more victims.

If you’re not familiar with the term, phishing is an apt metaphor for the crime. The bait: an email or instant message containing an urgent message, usually involving exciting or troublesome news and a request to provide information.

The hook: the legitimate-looking email links you to a legitimate-looking website or web form where you enter sensitive data which can later be sold and used to commit identity fraud.

What makes this crime tricky to spot is that the emails and websites can’t easily be distinguished from legitimate organizations. That’s because scammers can forge the look and feel of real websites and communications — a process known as spoofing.

And the waters may be getting a little rougher, according to experts. With growing internet use, there are always more fish to catch and more places to catch them. Secure content management solutions provider Kaspersky Lab recently released its list of top targets for phishing attacks worldwide.

Here are the top 10 places to watch out for predators:

• PayPal
• eBay
• HSBC (an international banking company)
• Facebook
• Google
• IRS
• RAPIDSHARE (A German webhosting company)
• Bank of America
• UBI (United Bank of India)
• Bradesco (One of the four leading banks in Brazil)

Other security sources like the Anti-Phishing Work Group (APWG) agree that certain sectors are risky, such as:

• Payment services. According to the Kaspersky Lab report, PayPal was the target of more than half of all phishing attacks. PayPal isn’t the only online payment service in the business, but it still garners most of the market share.
• Banks and financial institutions:  Worried about the safety of banking online? Spammers know it, and can use those concerns against you. Those “helpful” emails warning about a problem — like a security issue or attempted hack on your account — are bound to get a reaction. Visit any bank website and you’ll likely see phishing attack warning somewhere.
• Online auctions and sales: There’s a lot of money changing hands with online sales sites. In fact, eBay was the target of about 13 per cent of phishing attacks. Online auctions are risky for other types of fraud as well.
• Social media: Surprised to see Facebook at #4? So were experts — until they considered the growing popularity and membership of social media sites. With a membership over 400 million people — who share a total of 25 billion pieces of content each month, according to company statistics — Facebook is worth the time and trouble for tech-savvy scammers. Once they’ve got you on the hook, they can use your account to reel in your friends, family and coworkers.

Facebook certainly isn’t the only social media site to grapple with phishing, viruses and malware. Other social networks have been targets too, including Twitter. (Yes, 140 characters is enough for a phishing message.)

Tips to avoid phishing scams

Phishing attacks have been around for a while, but they may be getting harder to spot as crooks learn new tricks. Here are some tips to protect yourself:

- Know how your organizations handle customer service. Companies know that emails aren’t a secure way to handle their customers’ information. Most of the time, your bank, retailer or other organization will call you if there is a problem with your account. (That’s why they have your phone number on file, and security questions for verification.)

- Delete any suspicious emails right away. Don’t even open them, especially if they’re from an organization with whom you have no association — like an international bank, government or lottery.

- Don’t touch. If you do open the email, don’t click on any links or download any attachments. You could be directed to a spoofed site, or have malware and viruses downloaded to your computer.

- Take the time to look closer. Crooks are counting on you to respond right away, and without looking too closely or asking any questions. Look carefully at the email — are there errors in spelling and grammar? Do the links and email addresses have the same domain as the company? (Don’t click to find out, but “hover” over the links in your browser to see if the URL is suspicious). Are you asked to submit information you wouldn’t share with strangers?

-  Avoid reacting on emotion. Scammers rely on scare tactics and sympathy for current events to get a reaction out of people. Scammers often take advantage of current issues to make their claims more convincing. For instance, if an organization is suffering from a technology issue, scammers might exploit the issue to send out phishing attacks asking users to verify their account information.

- Verify. Are you concerned the email is real and there really is a problem with your account? Ignore the contact information and links in the email and contact the company directly to find out if there’s a problem. (Look up the phone number in the phone book, or look up the website yourself rather than clicking on a link.)

- Keep your information to yourself. When in doubt, don’t share any of your information, even if it seems insignificant.

- Report it. If you receive a phishing email, The Anti-Fraud Call Centre recommends reporting it to the financial institution or organization being spoofed so they can warn others, or email the centre.

We use the Internet for our business and you must be careful to protect yourself, your clients and your money so take caution. Also make sure you are backing up all your computer information daily so that if you do come across a virus or damage to your systems, that you will not lose all your information.

TRAINING TIP OF THE WEEK

Inviting just three people to join your business can substantially increase your commissions.  Make it easy, just invite them to our presentations and allow them to up their own mind.

Remember that communication between two people is key in building a relationship.  You will never have a great business is you are an e-mail junkie or a Twitterer.  People need to hear the tone and texture of your voice in order to decide if you are trustworthy and reliable, straightforward or dodgy.  Too hyped or matter of fact.  All this is read in your voice and that is why here we put so much time and attention into developing that part of you.

Systems can get people excited to take time to take a look but he conversation you have with them will be the deciding factor in a yes or no response.

Just think of your business relationships the same way you do your personal ones.  What would happen if all you ever did was email that person in the next room, where would the relationship go and more importantly, how many misconceptions would there be because the words are flat on the page?

Yes, we all read books that take us away into other worlds but these authors are masters at creating that image and texture through their words and if you one day spoke to them in person, you would here it in their voice as well.

One of the most effective ways to incorporate what you are learning is to surround yourself with people who give you strength – people who have committed to living in “Alignment” and in the “Flow”.

 One of the biggest factors in your success is the people that you associate with.  In particular, your five closest friends. I call the five people I am closest to my “Support Circle”. 

Take a look at YOUR “Support Circle”, the five people you are closest to. It’s crucial to your success that you have some positive – aligned people in the five to support you.

 I believe that the people you allow to make up this group are so instrumental to your success consciousness, that they truly become crucial to your path. They color your goals, expectations, and what you believe is possible for you.

 Be honest with yourself, would you describe the people you now have as the five closest people in your life as people who are living in the “flow” or as people who are negative and struggling? Who are the five people in the group closest to you now?

If most of the five are not on the same path, can you think of two or three NEW people that you currently know, that you can actively work at developing a deeper relationship with and bring them into your Support Circle?

Take a moment NOW and form your Support Circle.

Your Point of Focus right now is surrounding yourself with like-minded people that will support and inspire you on your journey.

Welcome everyone to Pinnacle Evolution, a different kind of company, a different kind of attitude, a place of success and prosperity, of technical advancement and strategic internet marketing manoeuvres and It’s all Jim’s fault.

Once upon a time people were satisfied with 95% failure rate in their online business. Small business couldn’t compete against the big box stores for Internet real estate so they didn’t even try.

To expect anything else was considered ridiculous, living in a dream world.  Then one day a remarkable thing happened.  Jim created a way for people to make better profits, be more successful and just knew that 95% failure was what was ridiculous, it was actually preposterous and then an idea began to form…he took this idea to the people he was working with, a company that he was top earner in, actually their only real earner, and they flatly rejected him. 

It was too complex, too difficult, no one would accept it and so he started out using the program for his team alone.  They began to prosper and soon they were the leading team.  Then another very strange thing happened, Jim was asked to cease and desist, he was told that people would just have to live with the failure rate, after all it was expected. His people could not have an unfair advantage.  Jim was told he had to allow other people to get prospects into their business and that would not be possible if he continued to offer this excellent service. Everyone wanted to work with only him…that was the successful place to be.

So Jim packed up his toys and tried another company that welcomed him with open arms, who told him they wanted all his ideas and were ready to implement them but alas that didn’t happen, he was betrayed once again, rejected once again.   He knew this would work but no one would listen.  He heard time and time again….people are comfortable, people don’t want to know the truth, people are expected to fail and we make money even when they do so who cares what happens to them.  They are adults, they should have known better.  They can buy their education and support somewhere else, we shouldn’t have to support them to that level and on it went. They should feel privileged that we even gave them any product at all.

Now, Jim was already an industry legend at this time.  Earning a cool million inside of thirteen months, and nearly double that over the next 12 months, his team mates were all earning substantial incomes as well. 

Anyone see something wrong with this picture? 

 Why would anyone reject this kind of success?  This was a man who came from an extremely successful corporate background owner of companies with gross revenues of over 100 million and no one would listen?

Oh yes, they wanted him in their businesses but only if he didn’t tell anyone how he became successful, not tell anyone of his success strategies…

 Ssshh – they said, no one needs to know that this may be a little difficult, or take a little time, that it will take the patience of Job and the tenacity of a pit-bull at the very least.  No, tell them it is easy and a monkey can do it, grab the money and run for the hills they said.

A man with less integrity and earning that kind of cash might just say okay, you win, and continue on but that is not what Jim did and that is why this is all Jim’s fault.

Now everyone who wants to put forth a bit of effort, wants to learn at the feet of a master can do so, not only that, they can have a technology platform so advanced and so extremely easy that people make money in spite of themselves. You are going to hear acronyms like JMAP, SIBA, IBP and EBSL things you have no idea about right now but will affect everyone marketing on the Internet from this day forth.

What we are talking about is a system which substantially AUTOMATES the very formula that brought Jim his Fame and Fortune. We are talking about the evolution of internet marketing from one platform.
